6 Months Down, 6 To Go - Here are 4 simple things you should do this week

It's official, we're half way through 2021! The 6 month mark is always a good time to reflect, review & refocus. A lot can happen in a year, and it’s extremely important to have a strategy, game plan and goals set in place.

Below are four simple things you should do this week (or month) to set focus for the next 6 months:

Control the Controllables

Write a list of things in your life you can control at the moment (everyone will be different).
Write a list of things you cannot control at the moment
Keep these lists handy. Acknowledge the 2nd list but focus on the 1st list.

For example it might be that you can control your wellbeing, your happiness, certain finances etc. Focus on these areas.

Revisit Your Goals

Look at your goals and intentions from the beginning of 2021, are you on track to achieve them? Or perhaps they may need to change which is ok. If you need to set some new goals and intentions now is the time to do so with just 6 months left of the year to dedicate to ticking off these goals.

Write an action plan of tasks or small stepping stones that will see you achieve your goals. You can use the goal section at the beginning of each month in your diary to map out these steps or utilise our thorough Goal Planning Downloadable.

Manifest Success

In order to live your best life this year, you really need to believe in yourself. Having a strong vision, commitment to seeing your goals through to the end, and the belief you can do it (no matter what), can really be the defining difference to making your dreams a reality.

It’s all about manifesting success and visualising your future. Don’t get me wrong - you will need to work very very hard, but focusing on the positives and pushing yourself forward will pay off in the long run.

Put Yourself First

And finally, the fourth simple step you can do this week is focus on putting yourself first for the rest of 2021. Take the time to push yourself, to do those things you have always wanted to do or focus on, and also identify when you need a little R+R time.
