Many of us have spent the month of January decompressing on the year that was 2020, now is the time to refocus your energy and check in with how you’re tracking to ensure 2021 will be your year! What habits & tools can you implement into your routine, what goals do you want to achieve & what lessons did you learn last year that you can make the most of this year. We’ve compiled a few helpful tips to get you refocused for 2021….
Utilise a To-Do List
Whether it’s to get back into a productive work day or to tick off life admin tasks, a to-do list is an amazing tool to set you up for a successful year. A to-do list allows you to visualise your tasks and prioritise accordingly. Our founder, Beck Wadworth, breaks down how to write and epic to-do list HERE.
Check in with your goals
What things would you like to achieve this year? Setting clear personal, professional and financial goals will give you direction and focus. Perhaps it’s something that will roll over from last year or a fresh new goal, either way identifying these goals early will give you a strong road map for the year ahead.
Create a Daily Routine
The beginning of the year is an important time to establish a good routine. Everyone's routine will look different and it’s important you find something that works for you, that might include meal prepping, planning your outfits or having your uniform ready the night before, exercising, scheduling time with friends or family and time for self care & hobbies.
Focus On Your Wellbeing
Whether it’s reading, journaling, podcasts, daily walks, a face mask or maybe just binge watching tv. Remind yourself of the small things that brought you peace in 2020 and bring them into the new year with you. Nurture your ‘self’ and you can flourish through anything. Don’t forget to also touch base with your support network.
