Putting Pen To Paper With Eloise Jenkins

Our Putting Pen To Paper series features different individuals & showcases what they use their favourite notebook for. It could be for to-do lists, sketching, song writing, illustrations, notes, daily gratitudes & everything in between. This week we went inside the notebook of designer & photographer, Eloise Jenkins.
Name:
Eloise Jenkins
Occupation
I run my own graphic design and photography studio full time from home, it fluctuates between branding, packaging and photography work for brands. Most days I try to shoot in the morning and then focus on my design work in the afternoon which helps me to stay focused. It's been about three years full time and I'm so glad I took the leap.
Plain or Lined paper?
I love lined paper for when I have to get my thoughts out, I feel as if the writing flows more with lines.
When do you put pen to paper?
Every morning I use my 2020 AOL diary to map out the day at my desk. I then turn to my Limitless Notebook for any brand icons that I have to sketch out. I love making lists, there is something so satisfying about them!
What inspired the Pen to Paper in your images?
I tried to photograph my notebooks in their true form, scribbled writing with lists in order of how they should be done. Next to coffee (always) and in the sun where I work.
What does journaling look like to you/how do you journal?
The 2020 diary helps me to stay on track, set monthly + weekly goals where as the Limitless Notebook helps me to freely write down things I don't want to forget, reminders to myself and to take notes during client calls. I'm always surrounded by paper!
