Our Morning Checklist

Our morning routine is not only important to set you up for a productive day but also the perfect time to establish life balance. It's a given that a good night's sleep is one of the essential things before even starting your morning routine. We’ve interviewed people from all different industries on their routines and below are some of our favourite things to add to your morning checklist.
Everyone's morning is different, some of you may have a substantial amount of time at home in the morning before your work day begins and others just might not be “morning people”but if you can incorporate just 2-3 of these morning checklist points into your routine you’ll feel better for it. Remember to do what feels best for you & think outside the box.. If you’re time poor perhaps you could incorporate meditation or journaling into your morning commute on public transport or could you walk or cycle to work one day a week for your morning exercise?
MORNING CHECKLIST:
Self:
Stay tech free in the bedroom, allow yourself to wake up without screen time. Make your bed, take the time to journal or meditate even if just for 5 - 10 minutes.
Move:
Exercise if you can & try a few simple morning stretches each day, stretching is beneficial for both your physical and mental wellbeing.
Learn:
Watch the news or listen to a podcast, this is something you can incorporate into your morning commute.
Fuel:
Nourish your body for the day ahead, drink a glass of water first and then your favourite breakfast… whether that be a proper meal or something on the go. Don’t forget your supplements too!
Prepare:
Get ready for the day ahead. Check your to-do list and schedule & set any alarms or reminders you might need. If you find it helpful and productive you can also check your emails.
