Favourite memory from the day?
It's so hard to pick just one moment! The day is a total whirlwind filled with so many amazing highlights. Thinking back, I have such fond memories of the ceremony, walking down the aisle (which was a long grassy paddock) with my parents, and meeting Wynn at the isle! It was so magic! Also one of our best friends officiated the wedding, it was intimate and light-hearted and really reflected who Wynn and I are together.
I also loved all the speeches later on in the evening and then having a great party on the dance floor till the wee hours with all our friends and whanau!

TIPS
What were you glad you invested in?
Great food! The food was so important to us - sharing and coming together over good food at our homes is where we share so many of our special memories with friends and family
For us, investing in a wedding planner was also a life saver. Having someone there leading up and on the day to really coordinate our vision and make it a reality was priceless. It was important that everyone, especially our parents felt relaxed and at ease.
Something you could have saved on?
This is a hard one, we were very clear about our budget and stuck with it! I wouldn't change a thing :)
Must have?
For us, our must-have wasn't so much a physical thing, but more a moment! Stepping back after dinner, taking it all in together was really special. A time to laugh and just be together - watch all our friend and family having a great time.
