2021, it’s the start of something new! What are you most looking forward to about the new year?
As challenging 2020 has been for us all, I look forward to more opportunities that will help to grow my creative pursuits.
What learnings will you be taking away from (the crazy year that was) 2020 & into 2021?
I have learnt to be a lot more appreciative of what I have, and I’ve learnt to use what I have in order to achieve my best as a creative. You can really make use of what you have if you put your mind to it.
Have your experiences in 2020 changed your mindset & priorities in any way?
Definitely. I’ve learnt what is really important to me, and my perspectives of what I thought was important has really changed. 2020 helped to highlight what my priorities are.
What is one personal, professional or financial goal you will be tracking in your 2021 diary?
I hope to broaden my clientele. I enjoy seeing the people I work with happy, and I enjoy bringing happiness to them with my creativity.
Professionally, I'm excited to be launching my own website in 2021, as I want to showcase my creativity on my own platform. I always like to emphasise ownership, and for me this was a great way to represent that.
How many years have you been using an An Organised Life Diary?
I’ve been writing stories, poems and love songs in my diary for a year.
What 2021 diary did you pick & why did you choose that style?
I picked the Limited Edition Elissa Barber x AOL Weekly Diary: the first thing that caught my attention was the gold foil detailing. It has a minimalistic touch to it, and I really like this.
Talk us through that feeling when you first unboxed your new AOL 2021 Diary? What did you notice?
The first thing I noticed was how well the package was wrapped; it’s as if I was receiving a special gift.
What is your favourite feature in your 2021 diary & how will it help you stay organised?
My favourite feature at the moment is how the diary is structured. It has a great guide on how one could plan their day, and this is very helpful.
What's one personal or professional project you have been working on or have upcoming that requires you to be organised?
I have been busy working on my website, this requires me to manage my time efficiently and stick to my plan.
What are the top 3 ways you organise your life?
1.I write things down
2.I try to plan a day in advance, even my journey
3.I break things down into little goals
What are your current desk essentials?
3. My diary
4. Lip balm
Top organisation hack?
